Contributed Code

This site is for newly contributed modules and source code which doesn't yet have a project of its own on netbeans.org, or which is too small or experimental to warrant one yet. If you're interested in the newest modules for NetBeans, you came to the right place. You can find the download list here.

Some documentation and specifications for code stored in CVS on this site can be found here.

Want to contribute?

For a general background on how to contribute to NetBeans, see Contributing to NetBeans.

If you already have a module you want to contribute, you can add it to the files hosted here as follows:

• Log into the netbeans web site, if you haven't already.
• Go to the list of files hosted here, by clicking the Files link at the top of this page.
• Click the link labelled suggest a download.
• Fill out the form and upload the file.

But before you do any of that, post on the nbdev or nbusers mailing lists so that people know about it!

Before this site existed, a mailing list was used for contributing code. You can find archives of contributions prior to May 2002 here.
